The banner of the third revolutionary district
Знамето на Трети революционен окръг за Априлското въстание във Враца е ушито от сестрите Мица и Калица Хаджикръстеви. Изглежда, че то е било трикольор. Знамето с лъвче така и си останало неразвято и скрито под керемидите на Вознесенската черква, а сетне съхранявано в тайник на тавана в бащината им Хаджикръстева къща. То е едно от малкото оригинални знамена, посрещнало братята освободители и запазени до наши дни като автентично. След Освобождението се пази в щаба на пехотен полк в Северна България.
Le drapeau du Troisième zone révolutionnaire bulgare est élaboré par les sœurs Mitza et Kalitza Hadjikrastevi. C’est un drapeau tricolor – blanc, vert et bleu, avec un lion dressé au centre et le mot „Liberté“ au-dessus de sa tête. Après le crach de l’insurrection, il est caché et retiré de nouveau lors de l’acceuil des armées russes à Vratza pendant la guerre russo-turque 1877 – 1878.
The banner of the third revolutionary district for the April Uprising was made in Vratsa by the two sisters – Mitsa and Kalitsa Hadjikrustevi. Looks like it was a tricolor and it also has engraved lion. The banner has never been used for its purpose and it was hidden under the roof of a church at first and then in a secret room on the roof of Hadjikrustevi’s childhood house. The banner was one of the very few which is authentic and kept until nowadays. After Bulgaria’s liberation it was kept at the headquarters of the infantry regiment of north Bulgaria.
