The Restoration and Conservation Studio
Since the time when the central building of RIM, Vratsa was built in 1980 the restoration and conservation studio has been an integral part of the museum structure. Its main activity is processing, reconstruction and preservation of the ceramic material coming from the archaeological investigations in the region. Besides, such regulated restoration-conservation activities are applied to other materials, such as bones, glass, and metal, if the circumstances require this or an urgent intervention is needed.
