Ethnographic-Revival Complex "Nikola Voyvodov"

In 1967 Nikola Voyvodov’s house of birth, on the central boulevard of Vratsa, was turned into a museum to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his heroic death. It accommodates a small photo-documentary exhibition, reflecting the life and the deeds of this prominent revolutionary.
Later on, in 1976, another house from the National Revival period was opened, the so called “Captain’s House”. The ethnographic exhibition therein presents the lifestyle of the urban dwellers of Vratsa at the beginning of the 20th c..
A lovely garden, cobblestone pavement paths, a fountain and a decorative fence in the style peculiar to the epoch complete the Ethnographic-Revival complex “Nikola Voyvodov”.
