The key of Vratsa

The key of Vratsa

The key of Vratsa was gifted to general major Nikolay Leonov I in 1877. He and the army he was leading were acknowledged as liberators of Vratsa from the Ottoman slavery.
Until 1955 it was kept in the museum of Leningrad. After that it was returned to Vratsa and currently its part of the Botev exposition in the local museum.
