Мито Орозов
Mito Petrov Orozov /born 1959 – died 1923/ from Vratsa was the founder of modern cars creation in Bulgaria. In 1883 he combined his workshop with the one of Isaya Toshov. Then in 1894 they built a new carting workshop “Mito Orozov” for manufacturing modern vehicles for this period of time: cars, cabriolets, phaeton, hearses, sleds etc. Mito Orozov was awarded on many occasions: 1892 – gold and silver medal of The First agriculture-industrial exposition in Plovdiv, 1895 – the first excellence of handcrafted expo in Pleven and two years later in Ruse. In 1907 they won the first Balkan agriculture-industrial exposition in London. Public activities include: 1884 – co-founder of community-centre “Razvitie” (Vratsa) ; 1909 – founding member of popular bank in Vratsa; 1911 – member of the V Grand National Assembly; 1920 – co-founder of Corporation Bank “Veslets”; 2010 – postmortem he was pronounced “Honorable citizen of Vratsa” etc.
Mito Petrov Orozov est né à Vratza en 1859. C’est le fondateur dе la production de voitures moderne. En 1894 il commence à produire des fiacres, des luges, des cabriolets, des charrettes et des catafalques. Il a obtenu beaucoup de prises internationaux: en 1892 – médaille d’or et médaille d’argent de la Première exposition agriculturelle et industrielle à Plovdiv; en 1895 – la première place à
l’exposition des artisanats à Plévène; en 1897 – à Roussé; en 1907 – médaille d’or de la première exposition balkanique d’agriculture et d’industrie à Londres. Mito Orozov a aussi une activité sociale. En 1884 il est un des fondateurs du tchitalichte „Razvitie“ . Au début du XX s. il prend part à la fondation de la Banque populaire de Vratza. En 1920 est co-fondateur de la Banque Accionnaire „Vesletz“. Son activité politique inclue la participation comme député à la V Grande réunion nationale en 1911.
Мито Петров Орозов /1859 г. – 1923 г./ от Враца е основоположникът на модерното коларство в България. През 1883 г. обединява работилницата си с тази на занаятчията Исая Тошов, като през 1894 г. построява новата коларска работилница „Мито Орозов” за производство на модерни за времето превозни средства: брички, кабриолети, файтони, катафалки, шейни и др. Отличен е с много награди: 1892 г. – златен и сребърен медал от Първото българско земеделско-промишлено изложение в Пловдив, 1895 г. – първо отличие от Занаятчийската изложба в Плевен, а през 1897 г. – в Русе, 1907 г. – златен медал от първото Балканско земеделско промишлено изложение в Лондон. Обществена дейност: 1884 г. – съосновател на читалище „Развитие”, 1909 г. – член-основател на Врачанска популярна банка, 1911 г. – депутат в V Велико народно събрание, 1920 г. – съосновател на Акционерна банка „Веслец”, 2010 г. – посмъртно „Почетен гражданин на Враца” и др.
